Seacole

We celebrated Remembrance Day in Seacole class by looking at why poppies are a symbol of Remembrance. We discussed what it might have felt like in the trenches and how it makes us feel thinking about soldiers from the war, during circle time. Then we researched the poppy and found out that it has become a worldwide symbol. We finished our day with some poppy sketches.

We started by practising a poppy sketch and then improved on this using feedback from our partner. We then created our final pieces in our sketch books.
